A four-pound roast and three and a half hours in the oven, drawn as smiling stickers: it is the widest gap in the catalog between what a dish is and how it is drawn. Ten stickers fill the cream panel to its limit, and the long cooking time reads at the bottom like everything else.

What this style does
Every ingredient is drawn like a Japanese sticker: a closed brown outline, a soft gradient from light to deep, two pink cheeks and a tiny face. The page is a grid notebook with a large cream panel laid on it, edges gently buckled, and the steps are numbered with orange, coral and blue markers.
Cream, coral, blue, orange and brick, five inks and not one more. A rounded Japanese gothic in capitals for the title, a running hand for the signature. The object it imitates is a sheet of Japanese stickers.
