Whole potatoes with faces, hard boiled eggs cut in half with two more, and a jar of mayonnaise between them: this style has rarely had a friendlier list to work with. Nine closed outlines in the cream panel with room to breathe, six steps in blue and coral markers, and the chilling time at the bottom.

What this style does
Every ingredient is drawn like a Japanese sticker: a closed brown outline, a soft gradient from light to deep, two pink cheeks and a tiny face. The page is a grid notebook with a large cream panel laid on it, edges gently buckled, and the steps are numbered with orange, coral and blue markers.
Cream, coral, blue, orange and brick, five inks and not one more. A rounded Japanese gothic in capitals for the title, a running hand for the signature. The object it imitates is a sheet of Japanese stickers.
